Manuel and Earlena Brown worked together at one of the most popular soulful restaurants in the city of Memphis -Southern Hands. Loving the restaurant business, they decided to venture out on their own.

They loved the idea of offering soulful sides, but didn't want to be overwhelmed with such a large menu. Focusing on the more popular menu items of a soul food restaurant, they decided to shift their focus to fried chicken!! Soulful chick will serve the best southern fried chicken in the south!! Southern sides such as candid yams, greens, and macaroni and cheese, puts the icing on the cake. The Browns also wanted to take this opportunity to offer hot wings. With a wide variety of flavors, there will be something for everyone. Soulful chick is a simple concept. The complexity is in the taste.
